You should also show technical qualifications required for the license class which includes apprenticeship, skills recognitions, or formal qualification documents. It is also important for your boilers license to include written references which shows confirmations of your supervisory experience. One of the other requirements is your financial information to help them determine if you meet their minimum requirements. If you are a nominee supervisor applicant, then you don’t need to provide financial information. Your proof of identity is required. You can either give them a certified copy of your driver’s license or a passport.
You don’t need to provide a copy of any supporting documentation that you have previously submitted to the QBCC, if you want to apply for an additional license class, unless you are updating the information on your previous papers submitted. Things that can be updated are your proof of identity, trading name or financial information.
Application will be processed in around 6 to 9 weeks. Checking your qualifications to be able to properly handle a license is also done during this period. Once your license is approved, you will receive a letter with your license number and scope of work for the license class.
